2nd baby shower?

So I’m wanting to have a baby shower for our 2nd baby. Our first baby was born during Covid and I didn’t get a real shower; we had a virtual one. I know some people frown upon second showers. What do y’all think?

Having your first during covid times is understandable to have a shower now. 
I am for every baby should be celebrated but my social circle doesn’t usually do more than one. Additional children might be sprinkle with little to no gifts or combo with a gender reveal.

I had a shower for my second baby too. I think it’s stupid that it’s become stigmatized. To me, it’s mostly about celebrating the baby, not the presents. You could call it a sprinkle or do a gender reveal party or something instead if you’re worried about friends/family members getting salty about it
