My boyfriends family

My boyfriends mom always wants to give me my boyfriends sister’s clothes that she doesn’t wear anymore or purses that she doesn’t use. And I know that’s a nice thing, but I actually am offended by it because I’m like 8 years older that my boyfriends sister. I’m in my late 20s and his sister is like 19 or 20. I feel like I should be giving her stuff not the other way around.

But they are rich and have money so she has a lot of expensive name brand stuff.

I want to get a new vehicle, and my boyfriend even suggested that I should buy his sisters car from her because she wants to sell hers to get a new one … and I said “ well maybe I would like to get a NEW vehicle”

Does anyone else think this weird ? It honestly makes me not like his sister and I feel bad for feeling that way.

It makes me feel like I’m poor and a Charity case for them.
