Well we’re having a baby!

I’m 37+3 today and I went to my OB appointment. I told her I had been contracting frequently so they put me on the monitor in the office and they were 6 minutes apart. She told me if they got any closer to go to the hospital. Once I got home they got more intense and were 4-5 minutes apart so we came to the hospital. They put us in a room and checked me, I was still 3cm (same as I was at 36 weeks) but I started bleeding a little and babies heart rate was high so the doctor said “why don’t we keep you and have a baby”. I’m in absolute shock lol. They just started pitocin about 45 minutes ago, I’m not in any crazy pain yet.

I’m soooo scared to get the epidural, can anyone make me feel better? 😅 I didn’t have one with my first baby and I knew I wanted one this time but I’m terrified.
