I work 9p-7a. My “situationship” of 3 months doesn’t like that I’m close with one of my bosses - he doesn’t even know her, but says it’s weird that we’re friends when she’s twice my age (I’m 23) and that it means she must be immature or something, idk.

She’s not a bad friend, the worst thing is just that she goes MIA sometimes, so we don’t talk much sometimes

I worked with her last night and I tried not to really be on my phone because I’m in the progress of getting promoted so I want to put in extra effort. My situationship was texting me for a little bit and I was telling him how I requested a day off. He asked what I was doing for that day but by the time I saw it, it was a couple hours later so I texted to see if he was awake still. He said yes and said “why are you taking off”. I told him I was starting to get plans with family for that night but how I might come in still. He said “that’s not what I was asking” and asked what I would be doing. By the time I saw it, it was 5 am and I figured he was asleep bc it said he wasn’t active for a couple hours, so I thought to just talk to him today. He texted me at 11:30am and said “you just never texted back about anything”. I was sleeping so I didn’t answer. Then he texts me again at 12 and says “I just think it’s weird that the night you work with (boss) you just stop texting back and ignore me once it got late enough and specifically avoided me asking what you were doing. Why? It’s weird”. I tried explaining and then asked what (boss) had to do with it. He said he thought (boss) was a bad influence and probably just talked to me all night and that’s why I didn’t answer. I tried saying I was just trying to focus and he started saying how usually other nights it’s not an issue and how I usually text him back in between. And straight up told me he didn’t believe me. And that in the future to just “think about it”. I asked if he was jealous of (boss) by the way he mentioned me “talking to her all night” and he got really mad.
