Wishing You Mamas All The Best

I’ve been putting this post off but now I’m ready to share just another part of my journey to becoming a momma again. I went to what was supposed to be our 8 week initial OB appointment on 7/27 only to learn that our son did not have a heartbeat. He died at 7w4d and I was due 3/7/25. I just had my D&C today and even though it still feels surreal I’m glad that the wait is over. Even with age (I’ll be 44 in October) my doctor sees no issue with me getting pregnant again and going on the have a healthy baby. He actually told me that my chances have increased (despite what the rest of the medical community wants us older mama’s to think). He wants me to to try again as soon as we can. And with that he gave me the hope I needed to keep going. I want to encourage all you mama to protect your peace and try not to worry so much. Enjoy each moment of this pregnancy as some of us have not been granted the same grace and blessings as you have. I might be out for March but I know I’ll be back posting about my rainbow promise.
