How expensive are newborn babies?

I am going to be a first time mom in 3 months and i'm curious to know how much money is spent on a newborn baby in a month (in needs) :).

Depends on you… realistically my son hasn’t been very expensive as I’m breastfeeding and nearly everything was brought before he arrived like clothes, blankets, nappies, toiletries etc. 
Since he was born 11weeks ago I’ve probably spent less then 100 on additionally nappies/ outfits and sensory toys 
Also depends on if your bottle or breast, which brand of nappies, wipe and cream you use, how fast they grow for clothes and that

For my son we had lots of hand me downs, his bassinet, clothes from nb-4t, a baby brezza formula maker and sterlizer were all handed down to me. But now that my son is 5months old we do buy him things every month. He is eating purée foods so we either make him his own purées by blending fruits and veggies or we buy premade ones but it’s definitely cheaper for us to make our own due to us having wic 😊. We do buy him clothes as well, since sometimes he grows out of them very fast that’s one thing to keep in mind sometimes one day they will have a growth spurt and be bigger overnight, he’s 5months old but wears a 12m size so we do go shopping for clothes at Ross or Walmart which is pretty cheap. Formula is bought as well monthly like maybe 3 cans out of our own pocket because he runs out of the 10 formula cans wic gives monthly. If you’re trying to save money OfferUp and facebook marketplace has a lot of used baby items that you could purchase for cheaper prices😊. On average we spend about $300-$400 because I really love shopping for clothes with my son haha 😅
