Credit Card Debt

Without judging lmao my boyfriend has credit card debt and I basically have none. I’ve worked so hard to be where I’m at in life at only 27. I work two jobs and hustle. My boyfriend works one job but it’s a very difficult physical job. I suggested to him that he needs to get a second job.

Here’s the “issue” I believe paying bills and stuff 50/50. But most of his income is going to credit card debt and I have to jump in and pay the utilities, cable and food on top of paying half of our rent. I don’t think it’s fair for me to have to spend more money just because my money isn’t going to debt. I want to save for a house or condo too.

I love this man so much and besides this issue he’s legit “perfect”. What would you do? Of course I’m helping him but I’m stressed by this whole situation.

Then I have friends who doing spilt down the middle and whoever has the money at the time just pays for things. Am I in the wrong? Do I need to change my thinking?
