What was it like going from 2 kids to 3?

So I am a mama of 2 beautiful kiddos. My son will be turning 5 in a few months, and our daughter will turn 2 in February. My SO and I are trying to decode whether or not we should actively TTC a third baby.

I would love to hear experiences from parents of 3 kiddos. How was the adjustment period once you gave birth? How did the older 2 react? How was the pregnancy? Anything else you care to share, we would be happy to know about it. I would love to see what we may be getting ourselves into if we choose to have another baby.
