Let's have a baby!

My due date was October 8th.

The birth plan's goal was to have a natural unmedicated vaginal birth.

Now that she is overdue, weighing in over 8lbs and I'm still 0% dilated, no contractions.

They will be sending me into the hospital to have my cervix ripened tonight and to be induced on Friday.

I really did not want to be induced but I know there are other risks now that it's late. Baby girl is just taking her time and not wanting to come.

I'm so nervous about pitocin causing more painful contractions. I absolutely DO NOT WANT AN EPIDURAL. I feel like everything that I planned is out the door and I don't feel prepared anymore. I'm excited to meet her finally and to not be pregnant anymore but definitely going in with some concerns.
