Wtf is in my mouth?

My wisdom teeth at the top are completely grown. The two at the bottom cause me problems every now and then! Well there's nothing wrong with them after X-rays etc. however wtf is the buldge? It's so sore!!!

Dental worker here. It's the gum flap hanging over your lower wisdom tooth since it hasn't come all the way through yet. You've likely bitten it and it's inflamed. They actually cause a great deal of pain! You can either have this gum flap removed or have the wisdom teeth removed to prevent more pain or decay later in life.

I had that same thing happen when I had my wisdom teeth come in. I would get food stuck in that flap. Ended up getting my wisdom teeth removed due to not wanting to risk getting infection or decay.
