Deciding to take a new job advice

I hate change but I want to make more money so I can buy a house. It’s $14,252 more and seems like less responsibilities. The downside is the PTO; I currently have unlimited and this new job starts at 2 weeks. I asked if there is room for negotiation on that so waiting to hear back. Overall I like my current job and the people a lot but I do a lot of work outside of my job role and I am not compensated for It. Also, I think my department will eventually have lay offs due to not meeting budget. I’m also nervous I won’t like this new role and I’ll be stuck. I know it’s a risk no matter what but just trying to get some advice, thanks!
