What do I do after…?

Hi! My partner of 11 years and I are going to start ttc soon, but there’s been something I have been too embarrassed to ask. We’ve always had protected sex because we weren’t ready for kids until now. I need advice on what to do after he…in me. It’s something I have never really experienced and every time I try to ask the internet it just leads me to porn sites 😂. Any and all advice is welcome!

We keep a towel in reach. I use the towel to hold it all in place as I slide off. I then wipe up a bit with the towel and head to the bathroom. Always pee immediately after. 
If I didn’t use a towel while pulling off, it just goops down my thighs and is just messier. 
Remember that you don’t have to lay with your legs in the air or anything like that while ttc. Sperm gets to where it needs to go in seconds. 
Also, what goes in must come out. Sperm does it’s thing in seconds so don’t be alarmed at what or how much comes back out after. 
I do recommend using opks to help pinpoint ovulation.

Pee immediately after (even when using protection). I usually sit for a few mins longer to let the cum drip out of me. Then I sleep naked on a towel to catch anything else.

Hey Chloe! Congrats on staying protected for 11 years, that's amazing!
One thing to note, you both might ... very quickly lol, it's definitely a whole other level of intimacy.
What I do for "clean up" is to basically sit on the toilet after and (pardon my wording) scoop out the semen with my two middle fingers. Then wee to flush anything from the urinary tract and wipe the outside with a baby wipe or wash with a bidet. NEVER wash inside, your body is self-cleaning. 
If you're TTC, any semen that has made it into your cervix will travel deeper inside the uterus, so there's no real need to keep the rest of it in the vagina as it actually changes the pH and can cause some nasty smells. It will cleanse itself over the next few days.
