Completely depends on the situation. some circumstances I probably would, others I wouldn’t.

If my husband came home in 5 minutes and told me he wanted a divorce I would definately try to figure out why. I'd also suggest marriage counseling, a trial seperation, therapy, ect.  He's obsessed with our family and we're his entire life so it just wouldn't make sense. If he told me he needed some space to think I would do that with the conditon that he still see our children every day and at least check in with me to make sure he was still alive at the end of every day since he's law enforcement. My husband and I don't have a single issue in our marriage and have never had a fight or argument. It would be quite bizarre and completely out of the blue if he wanted a divorce.

Absolutely not. If someone doesn't wanna be with me, I hold the door open for them so it doesn't hit them in the ass on the way out. The way I see it is, if you don't wanna be with me… Go fuck yourself 🤷‍♀️

I guess it depends on the circumstances? You can’t convince someone to be with you if they don’t want to be with you. If my SO told me he wanted to split up, I would suggest trying counseling & working things out, but ultimately if he made up his mind to give up & end the relationship, I think the only sane thing to do is accept it. You’re only hurting yourself in the long run if you try to keep holding on to something that the other person already let go of.
