Is this still abusive behavior?
I posted earlier about how my (soon to be ex) boyfriend threw something at me while we were fighting at work (over me talking to someone about a customer we had) and my coworkers were scared thinking he threw it at me, or tried to. I ended realizing we had another camera and watched it. It shows that he turns and sees me talking. Then grabs a pie with his BARE HANDS and boxes it. Brings it with him as he yells at me from across the room. Then as I was walking past him, he tried to lean down (because he’s taller than me) to get closer to yell. Then follows closely behind me and yells “there’s your stupid pie” before throwing it. Conveniently, the pie holder was on the side by where I was walking and it smashed into the wall there. It hit the wall right as I was walking past. It didn’t look like he was throwing it at me, so I didn’t think it was abusive. But my coworkers are convinced that it’s still abusive behavior since he threw it even just close to where I was out of anger and that he might be testing waters. I asked him about it and he said he wouldn’t ever assault me like that. But I’m starting to believe my friends. Plus he’s big on protocol so him using bare hands to touch food makes it feel planned. But I’m denial that he would physically harm me like that. Especially in public
