What do you do with duplicate gifts after Christmas ?

What do you do with duplicate gifts? Is it messed up to sell them if you use the money to get another gift instead? My kids got multiple duplicate gifts and so did I. I got 2 crock pots, 2 cookware sets, 2 vacuum cleaners, my son got 2 scooters, 2 of the same pair of shoes, my youngest daughter got 2 play mats, and 2 sit me up seats. I’m not even sure who bought what because we went to so many houses on Christmas. Would it be messed up if I sold the duplicate gifts and just used the money from selling them to buy something else in place of the gift? Or should I just try to figure out who got what and give the gifts back? Normally if there’s just 1 or 2 duplicates I keep them but we got a lot of duplicates this year and I’m not really sure what to do with them.
