Tongue bite

My daughter bit her tongue yesterday afternoon and it did scab up but later that night when she ate her dinner the scab came off and the bleeding started back again, well I’ve been up all night monitoring her and the bleeding slowed down a lot more but there’s still a trickle. Please no judgment as this is new to me, will the dr treat her for this or should I keep treating at home?
