A REALLY weird ulcer symptom
So before I had my ulcer diagnosis, I was having really bad issues with my asthma. I had been in the hospital a few times because my meds were not working. Not a nebulizer, not my inhaler.
One day I woke up around 9am and I was like… I can’t breathe. I started doing a nebulizer treatment and it wasn’t working, like as I was actively doing the treatment my asthma attack was just getting worse, it happened fast and went from 0-100 I was suffocating and called 911 barely able to speak to them and just got out my address and the dispatch could very much hear my coughing and ragged attempt at breathing and sent an ambulance. I coughed so hard I threw up on myself and I started almost passing out when EMS came through my door and they put a breathing machine on me and wheeled me out of the house and they were like “this is not working she still can’t breathe.” So they shot me up with adrenaline and rushed me to the ER where I spent some time getting breathing treatments, god tier amounts of steroids and tests that were all clear. They referred me to a pulmonologist. My asthma has NEVER ever been that bad and I found out after getting my ulcer diagnosis that the acid reflux from an ulcer can cause your asthma to flare up really bad. I legitimately thought I was going to die that day. I have had zero issues with my asthma since my diagnosis and treatment. I felt like this is good information to have if you or your kids are asthmatic.
