I need advice ASAP please!!

I am a 19 year old in college. I don’t dorm & I still live with parents. I’m pretty dependent on them. I want to add that I’m Latina so my parents are a bit strict with me.

I haven’t been in a relationship yet because of my strict parents. Recently, I mean October, I met a really nice guy! He’s super sweet and always puts me first. He’s been kind enough to understand that I can’t date him officially because of my parents.

He asked me out on a date for Valentine’s Day, but I don’t know how to ask my parents. I usually never ask for advice, but I feel so lost.

How do I go about this? I’m so scared to ask, but I’m almost 20. I should be able to have a little freedom, but I feel like I don’t. What do I do???
