Is this financial abuse?

My friend’s husband is kind of an asshole all around. He calls her mean names, snaps at her for ridiculous things and recently she has let me know how he closes her off to finances. It seems obvious to me he’s financially abusing her but she doesn’t want to believe it.

1. Shes a SAHM and he works making 6 figures but he puts a very very large amount towards his 401k to the point that they have to scrape by each month. If she asked him to reduce the amount in the 401k he refuses to discuss it.

2. They have a 2 year old and he was really sick running a 105 fever. She told him he needed to go to the hospital and he said “do you have hospital money?” and said she can’t take him unless she comes up with the money.

3. The one time he let her see bank statements she saw that he was door-dashing beer and food for himself constantly and hiding it adding up to hundreds a month. When she confronted him he blocked her from seeing any of his spending.

4. He has her on a strict budget for groceries but he has no budget.
