i had it since 2022 in july. i'll be taking it off in 2025 i think.. but i been gaining unessessary weight .. im not even eating a lot and i been getting fatter. should i take it off? and i been very depressed lately and feel like im getting worse .. idk if it has to do with this birth control or not.. i have 2 babies.. 3 year old and a 1 year old... my baby daddy left us .. :/ and i been extremely depressed .. feel like ending my life with medication and etc.. i need help

Yes. Implant can make you extremely depressed. You’ll feel relief as soon as it comes out with your mental health. That’s why I got it taken out after 2 years. Weight gain normal on it.

Go talk to your doctor about it. Definitely seek out help. Birth control messes with your hormones. It can make you depressed. I would stop the birth control right away and get on mental health meds. Remember just because baby daddy is a piece shit and is not in the kids lifes doesn't mean they can't have you. You're all these kids have so don't take your life because of an emotion that can change. There is no reason to make such a decision that big. The kids would be lost without you.
