My boyfriends family

My bf and I have been together for 3 years. His family and my family haven’t met yet because they live far away.

His family has a lot of money. And most of my family doesn’t. My mom and step dad have good jobs and they have a good amount and do very well.

I don’t make a whole lot, but my bf and I live comfortably.

Since his family are kind of rich, my family is convinced that they are mean to me or judge me because I am not rich. And didn’t grow up rich.

But that’s not true. His family is super nice to me and actually spoil me. They buy me tons of stuff for Christmas and invite me on their family vacations.

I have no idea why my family thinks I’m not good enough for them or think they are mean to me.

It hurts my feelings. And it makes me nervous for them to one day meet each other.
