Whats a good work excuse to find someone ?

I was having a rough day as an officer at work. Another officer from another agency came by and despite my bad day he came in and acted so happy and kind. Him and couldnt stop staring at eachother and smiling and talking for 20 minutes. I was feeling sick at work and he offered to get me coffee and food I declined not realizing. I didnt get his number but only his last name. I was just thinking of randomly calling when he works on duty and saying i forgot a piece of his information just to get his name again. I would never feel this way to an officer i work with as I know this against the rules but he works for another police agency is it worth it coming up with a plan to find him?
