Was that weird?

I was at my boyfriends and as we were leaving we ran into his neighbor an older lady he is friendly with he takes her dog out when she can’t picks up things at Walmart for her. She asked name and a i told her… she heard it wrong and I corrected her and she still didn’t get it but my boyfriend also didn’t correct her and I think that was kinda weird I thought he should tell her what my name actually is since they know eachother really well.

So it’s okay for him to make me feel embarrassed? His girlfriend? Instead of a neighbor? She isn’t that old my name is always miss heard but easily corrected so I think he should have stepped in maybe she would have under him instead of me bc am very soft spoken and he’s not. I think if your introduced into your partners life ppl should know your name. Y’all a definitely not the audience.
