Is this normal?

The last few times my so and I have had sex he hasn't been able to cum and it's made me feel really self concious, he'll suggest I use my hand or mouth instead after a while.. Am I stressing for no reason or should I be concerned?

Totally normal! Sometimes the mood isn't just right, or things aren't clicking!  When it happens with us, it's always stress related with my hubs! If he's having a stressful week, i try to get him more aroused and fired up and that seems to do the trick!

I wouldn't worry about it. The more you stress, the more pressure it puts on him and the harder it'll be to just FEEL and not focus on "amIgoingtocumornot?" the whole time.

I've had trouble getting off myself and that's how I feel when my SO is waiting for me. It helps to just have a spontaneous pounce and go kind of session too, leaves less time for the mind to wander.

My guy has been unable to cum a few times and I hate watching him sulk off like he's some kind of failure. Usually I'll let him clean up and cool down, if we're watching a movie or something I might start touching him and see how he reacts, maybe go down on him and see if he's game to try again. ?
