Anyones baby didnt fit newborn clothes?

Question

I am due May 26th but I am being induced around 36 weeks. The week of May 12th. I went out and bought more newborn clothes since my first was so small when she was born and because they were pulling him early. Well, at my 28 week growth scan he was measuring 30 weeks and already 3 lbs. Now im 29 weeks and worried he wont fit the precious newborn and 0-3 months I bought him. Has this happened to anyone?

My first was born at 40 weeks, my second at 39 weeks. Both just over 7lbs and both still wore premie at first.

Why are you being induced at 36 weeks? 
At 37 weeks with my first he wore premie
At 36 weeks with my second he wore premie as well. Both came early due to medical

You likely need some preemie for a 36 weeker. 
3lbs at 28 weeks isn’t that big.

My third was 10 lb 3 oz. He was still able to squeeze into newborn for a few days, but moved into 0-3 months quickly (and size 1 diapers). My first two were in the 7 lb range and wore newborn for a few weeks.

My first was born 9 lb 7 oz and she still wore some nb clothes and used nb size diapers (although she was tall so some one piece zip up pajamas were too small). My second was born 10 lb 1 oz at 39 weeks and he did have to completely skip nb diapers and clothes except for one or two things that somehow still fit.
