Family doesn’t agree

I’m a SAHM (have been for 5 years)

Currently husband and I decided to homeschool our oldest child who just turned 6 about 2 weeks ago. She had been doing great with it and we are actually almost done with her lessons for the year. When I voiced to family at the beginning of the school year that we had decided to homeschool instead of sending her to kindergarten we got some comments.. nothing has been said lately until just these past few days. My mom has been asking to take our daughter shopping because she thinks it would be fun (I wouldn’t mind but it’s gotten out of hand I feel with how often my oldest gets to go places with them but my son doesn’t) when I voiced to her that I would let her know and maybe I would have her take both kiddos (so my son could enjoy himself too) she got really defensive. We kissy had a 20 minute phone call this evening because she is concerned my daughter need “a break” because she is always around kids and me… it kind of upset me and honestly made me feel shitty when I don’t think I should. I can count 2 occasions since the beginning of the year that they have taken my daughter by herself somewhere. Yes, she is home with me a lot and yes, I do babysit a few kids out of my home for some income but she enjoys playing with them and I give her quiet time in her room daily and if she ever voices to me she wants to do something alone I make sure it happens. My mom then proceeded to tell me she’d love to keep her and my son more for sleepovers etc but we never let her and she feels it’s not good for them to not get to stay places. Again, they don’t stay places and if they do it’s not very often. But this is something my husband and I discussed and we feel that we’re the parents they can sleep at home with us… I’m jw if I’m in the wrong for this or not? Looking for outside opinions
