Breastfeeding, first timer tips

This will be my third baby, with formula prices being crazy high this time around I want to try breastfeeding lol! I tried with my second but my nipples bled & it hurt so much when he’d try & latch. I also felt like he wasn’t being satisfied! (I only tried for 2 days).

I had the madela breast pump but thinking of trying the momcozy s12 or s9. 🤔

I need tips, typically they’d help you get baby to latch right after birth. Then they bring you formula lol. But should I decline the formula & just use the breast? How will I know he’s satisfied? How long does he stay on me? How can I avoid nipple pain & bleeding? 🙃

Also, should I use bottles too? Is it easier/better to feed both by breast & bottle? (Bottle with breast milk) when should I start expressing milk, is that a thing? lol
