Seeking similar stories.
I am not officially considered high risk at this point. I see a maternal/fetal specialist in two weeks for the 1st time though.
I've had two second trimester scans so far, each two weeks apart. Both have shown stomach enlargement. Amniotic fluid levels are showing normal though. And they're not noting any other abnormalities at this time (no fluid around kidneys or mention of intestinal issues).
I'm going to be having a target ultrasound and council at a big hospital that's over an hour away...
I am stressed, there's no question about that. Two abnormals in a row is reason for concern, I'm a realistic person. At the same time I'm really hoping to hear from someone who's had this occur and I am hoping you can share your diagnosis and out come with me.
