Breast feeding/showering

There is no group for this and I need like breast feeding for dummies idk what I’m doing 😂 … how long should I wait to run my breast under hot water , I’m actually scared the engorgement only been gone a few days and my nipples no longer feel like there being ripped off on initial latch . I’ve been showering with soap and water cuz I’m not gross but I’ve been using a rag to like light wash them off out of free swelling will come back 😂 am I safe to shower normal ?
