Chances of pregnancy while sterile ?

My husband had a vasectomy and I sterilized myself because we don’t want children . 
I’ve heard people still get pregnant by mistake . 
Even tho we were told we have no chances I’m still paranoid about pregnancy each month how can I help myself ?..

What do you mean stearlized yourself?? Like had your tubes tied or hysterectomy?? If both of your are now sterile you're safe.

Did your husband go for all of his check ups after he had the vasectomy to make sure that he’s clear? If it makes you feel better, then use condoms just in case for your own peace of mind. Aside from that or taking birth control it’s really the only other option but you probably don’t need to be that proactive or taking Plan B obviously but that’s not necessary either. Plan B is just gonna mess up your system, birth control is probably not necessary, unless some miraculous grow back happened, either one of you. But if it makes you feel better being preventative, maybe him pulling out or wearing a condom  might be the better option
