When did you know you was ready for another child?

We have 2 children, 1 boy (almost 4) 1 girl (almost 2),

I believe 2 is great. I’m 50/50 about a third. I’m on BC currently but also taking medication for acne which I’ve read interferes with BC. So I mentioned it to my partner and he said ‘another child is fine. What’s another child we already have 2.’ He seems unfazed by another child.

However he cheated on me while I was pregnant with my second because he was ‘scared and wasn’t himself’ says he was so scared that he became depressed and didn’t recognise himself. I gave him another chance and we’ve been great since.

Our home isn’t big enough for a third but we have been trying to move for 2 years. No luck.

Our car is just about big enough for the 4 of us so a third would mean a bigger car.

We are financially stable so we don’t need to worry about money.

We don’t want to wait too long if we have another because we prefer the age gap between our kids to be close.
