Mom Advice

im sorry i know these are for help TTC bit i really need some mom advice.

this will be long but ill point some of the main points at the beginning.

On Oct 26th my 11yr old cousin came to live with Me, my husband & his 8yr old son.

my cousin was removed from her mom because of neglect. my cousin was also sexual abused my her moms husband. my cousin was never allowed to interact with children when she was younger till she started school.

my cousin is not doing any of her school work at school, she is starting to disrupt the class & right after she started school she wrote a note a friend saying she wanted to hurt someone to see them suffer. her reason for this is she wanted to test her friend. which of course was a lie. she done this with her mom. she would make up lies about meetting bad men at the park also. i just found out that when she done this before they just sent her to the counselor & she got to spend the day with her. i told her if she ever done something like that again i would ground her. so a few days ago she told her neighbor friend that someone was coming to the school to cut her wrist from another state. she confessed that it was a lie for attention so i grounded her all she is allowed to do is read and write. im lost and dont know how to help her. all the mental health clinics are full & wont take her because her health insurance hasnt started yet. ive tried talking to her and she just says i dont know.
