Long distance tips or advice??

We originally matched late last year on dating app. Fizzled out around the new year. Recently rekindled about 2 months ago (we’re in separate states, about a 5 hour drive/1 hour flight) we’ve hung out 2x now, and he’s to visit again in a few days! How do you keep it going? I know it’s hard and wish we could be a mile from each other. I told myself if things were to progress and get pretty serious, like a ring, I would move his way for sure. But because we’re still fresh into this, I’m already trying to mentally and futuristic plan ahead. We’re both adults, I’m 28 and he’s 34. Both agreed we’re looking for something serious and want to be married. I know people who have done long distance and made it work and are now happily married. I should mention he’s a pilot, so it’s a benefit for him that he can fly for free and get me a buddy pass at times so we don’t have to drive when taking turns seeing each other.
