Brown discharge but no period?

hey y’all! so i was previously on the mini pill for about a year and only got my period two times that year. I quit birth control in November 2023 but have gotten my period only once which was January this year. I almost never have a period, but when i’m about to start i ALWAYS get awful cramps, the last 3 days i have been discharging brown but i still haven’t gotten my period, and i was technically suppose to have it two weeks ago but didn’t. (it’s normal for my period to not come), i’ve been sexually active without protection but i read that brown discharge can be a sign of early pregnancy? thoughts?
