Looking for opinions on IVF

Went for results of HSG test today and it showed both tubes are blocked from scar tissue and also one has a hydrosalpinx (fluid pocket). She said our only option at this point is IVF and I must have an ultrasound to measure size of hydrosalpinx and that will determine if they want to take part of the tube out or see if it will be possible to have a cycle of IVF .... Anyone have any opinions or advice ?
