Long story short, my husband tried setting a boundary with his mother about asking her not to pull out our sons tooth again. We do not pull out our kids teeth and we weren’t sure if she knew that but we wanted to make it clear. I had my husband start the conversation since it’s his mother and she needed to know we were both on the same page.

She was very defensive and even said her grandchild was lying (he’s 6). She told us to get over ourselves and said it is just a tooth. She said we don’t respect her. She started yelling at me saying I put her son up to the conversation and that I’m a psycho and think I’m so perfect. She asked me what my issue is with her! I said I do not have an issue with you, I’m just trying to set boundaries and make it known our parenting style.

The conversation basically ended very awkward and we didn’t get anywhere.

We are supposed to go over there for Labor day weekend. Would you go over there?
