I need some advice
So, I graduated college recently and transferred to a cal state university. I was feeling excited for this new chapter but now that I’m attending, I’m starting to overthink it. The professors have mentioned that it takes a couple years to receive a bachelor’s then a masters. Well I am 40 right now and thinking that I might graduate till almost 50 makes feel discouraged. I went back to school because I never worked before and I want to become independent. So, now I’m thinking that starting a career till 50 will be too old for me. Also, it is so expensive. It cost about 4500 but good thing financial aid was able to cover most of it. The rest my husband was able to get it in 3 payment plans but either way $760 was still a lot of money. Now I am thinking that I should just get job instead. That way I could prepare the next generation, my daughter, since she graduating high school in 2026. So, I am going back and forth with that I really want to go to cal state but it is expensive. Also that I might graduate till almost 50 has me discouraged but I also work so hard to get in so it hard to let it go. I want to work already and don’t want to wait. What you guys think? I hope what I wrote made sense lol.
I forgot to add my major is psychology
