Random woman photographing my daughter.
So today I was shopping at a boutique store near a farmers market in Houston, TX. My daughter was standing near me and she is pretty cute/friendly and was wearing a pink dress today so she garners a bit of attention in general so people talking to/about her is something I often intercept and am involved in but I heard a lady giggling and saying she was so cute so I looked up at her and she was taking her picture from a couple feet away… then just walked away and I never saw her again. Is it just me or is that so freaking weird? I don’t mean to over or under react I didn’t want to make a scene and make my daughter uncomfortable. She is only 2 but would have noticed I was being confrontational and she didn’t notice the woman taking her picture to begin with, she actually doesn’t like having her picture taken anyway.
Just wondering peoples general thoughts on this because as it stands next time (hopefully there is no next time and this isn’t common 🥴 I’m a first time Mom) I’m going to politely approach the person and ask them to delete the pictures right away, I think that’s such a weird thing to do.
