He asked me on a date after 3 days, too soon?

We have had small convo here and there since 2023 on IG. He usually comments on my post or replies to my stories. Nothing major, we started talking Sunday after him saying he’s been trying to get to know me basically, but I tend to not respond which is true 😅. I don’t feel like he’s a COMPLETE stranger and convo has been consistent since Sunday. I do like to not prolog dates just to see if we are compatible in person. Which guys usually take a while to ask me out and I lose interest before we even go on a date. He asked to go for food tomorrow, which he’s 45 mins away from me. Maybe I’m just nervous lol. Is it too soon for a date?
