Toddler hitting baby how to stop her ?

My 2.5 year old baby girl  keeps hitting my 15 month old baby girl she also will push her down when she's on the floor playing an she will find it funny when she hurts her but at the same time I don't think she a 100% understands what she's doing 😕 she as been like this with her since she as been born as anyone else been though the same ? If so would be nice to hear your side 😊

Try spending more dedicated one on one time with your oldest. I know it’s hard but it can be 15 uninterrupted minutes a day. While your small baby sleeps or if you have a partner or anyone else to help watch the small one. Also telling and showing your daughter that you love her, give lots of hugs. I personally try to tell my son things like “your baby brother loves you” or tell the smaller baby “it’s your big brother turn now” oh and never blame the baby because the oldest will only understand that the baby is the cause of why things have changed. Ex: daughter wants to play but you are rocking the baby to sleep, you don’t want to say things like “wait I’m with your sister, be quiet your sister is sleeping” instead say “ I’ll be right there”. I’m not a professional but those are a few things I try to do and it’s very difficult and takes daily practice and awareness.
