Oldest having hard time with NB

hi everyone I have an oldest that’s 10years old she was excited for her new sister, she has been the only child for 10years!!!

Her sister was born 12 days ago and we noticed she’s having a hard time, which surprises me and sadens me. She doesn’t want much to do with her, she seems more quiet. Her dad and I are constantly tired because she has bad colic already, we tried talking to her explaining it’s only like this right now because she’s a newborn, we ask her how she’s been doing and if she wants to spend time with us to let us know.

She doesn’t really even pay attention to her, her cousins who are the same age are in awe of her but her she’s just there.

I’m just curious if anyone’s gone through something similar? I can’t help but feel guilty about this

Her dad has took her in ice cream dates and car rides!

As for me I’m struggling, my LO doesn’t latch so I need to pump so I’m constantly just.. busy.. I explained mommy needs a bit more time to recover but I can’t help but feel guilty
