Husband rude or am i overreacting?

Question

How would you feel if you made breakfast for you and your husband and he responded with “I don’t want that crap”? Like I made a pretty simple pancakes and sausage, which he always eats whenever available so it’s not like he’s ever made it known that he doesn’t like it. He’s not a big breakfast person but he’s always asking me for breakfast. I don’t know if I’m overreacting and just supposed to accept that he doesn’t actually like it and I should find something else or if I should be upset.

Seriously, though, if he doesn't want what you cooked, then he can feed himself or wait until the next meal.
No one can tell you how to feel. If he offended you, then tell him so, and ask him why he said what he said. It may not be about pancakes and sausage if this isn't his usual behavior.

He needs to find a better way to say it. Effective communication is a must in marriage. If he doesn’t want pancakes & sausage then he has to communicate what meal he would rather have. Or if he is tired of eating the same thing he has to communicate that he wants to try some new breakfast foods.

It is very rude to react that way. I would feel very unappreciated if I were in your shoes. There needs to be a conversation before breakfast is made about what everyone wants to eat. But in no way shape or form is his reaction OK. ￼

It's the delivery for me. He could've said it respectfully in so many ways. I can't imagine my hunny ever speaking to me like that, and I would've instantly say "Well you can cook ALL your meals from now on."

That’s extremely rude. If he didn’t want it he could have said a million other things. Like “I’m not in the mood for pancakes” “I’m not hungry” “I’d actually like to go out to eat” “Would you mind making something else” 
Not “I don’t want that crap”

I use to be with someone that talked to me like this and I’m so happy I’m now with a guy that cares about my feelings and isn’t rude to me.
