AM I TRIPPIN?! Are my sister and husband …
Let me start by saying my older sister and I are extremely close but we don’t discuss sex with our respective partners/ex or even speak of it at all, we just aren’t brought up like that. I was recently hospitalised for 2 months due to complications post surgery and since then I’ve had suspicions that the dynamic of my sister and my husbands relationship has changed! My sister is two years older than us and single.
I absolutely don’t want to believe this is true so I would rather think I’m going nuts but hear me out. They were never uncomfortable around each other but they seem to have gotten ‘closer’. Makes sense as they both needed to communicate a lot whilst I was hospitalised.
While I was jn hospital, my sister felt unwell, my husband took her expensive food, medicine and I can’t remember what else and my sister posted about it on her story. Also suddenly my husband felt comfortable talking about ‘d**ks’ in front of my sister. Like oh that looks like it’s shaped like a D, on more than one occasion he’s made that joke, something that never use to happen.
I’m currently staying over at my sisters and I asked if she had a new razor because I was obsessed with shaving. Her response was ‘I don’t know why you’re so obsessed with shaving it’s not like you’re sleeping with (my husband) at the moment’ my initial reaction was shock. I said how the heck would you know and she said oh it’s because he’s been annoying you lately. Ok true but these aren’t things we ever talk about. My husband also talked about wanting to get her a gift for being there for him when I was hospitalised (not a crazy idea except he has never randomly thought about getting me a gift).
I need an outsiders perspective. Am I crazy? And it sounds like nothing or shall I dig deeper into what could be happening? I honestly can’t fathom my sister betraying me but crazier things have happened to other people.
Edit: Thank you so much! A lot of you have said to dig so any ideas on the things I can do to get the info I need would be great.
