Video game addiction

I think my bf has a video game addiction. We’ve been together for five years and living together for about four months now… so the addiction is becoming super apparent. He games I’m not kidding… the entire day. And then until 3AM. He’s not working right now but when he did he worked from home and gamed the entire time.

I just got home from being with my family and he helped me unpacked my stuff and was loving but went right back to gaming, didn’t eat anything until I brought food home, I see empty beers by his gaming desk. Like constantly playing games. Also when there’s family events or times where we get Invited to things he will say he doesn’t feel well and then just game the whole time and i have to make excuses for why he doesn’t wanna go. I’m just… kind of getting a bit bummed out by this. We watch movies together and hangout, but he always goes right back to gaming. This is really concerning to me.
