Irregular bleeding after IUD removal ?

Hi,

I am 42 and my periods have always been regular and had 3 pregnancies and have 3 beautiful babies. I got the paraguard IUD January 2024 and bled for the first 3 weeks straight after that, and then had irregular bleeding off and on until I got it removed a couple weeks ago. I bled for 26 days straight and Dr put me on provera for a week as well to help stop the bleeding. Well the bleeding finally stopped on February 5th and now today the 15th it started again. My doctor warned me that if bleeding didn’t stop he would want to do a biopsy to r/o cancer. I just hope that’s not the case and hoping maybe it’s peri-menopause or something. Anyone else go through this?
