Driving after a C Section

It’s been 8 years since this was an issue for me and I googled and will talk to my doctor also, but how long did you guys have to wait? Was it doctor clearance or just whenever you felt comfortable?

My husband and I are trying to split his paternity leave and take most of it after my 16 weeks are up to save the extra 12 weeks on daycare so he’s only going to be home for 4 weeks with me to drive my oldest to school.

I’m gunna need to be back behind the wheel at that point. Doable? Or should I plan to have backup?
