Can I get a restraining order ?

My ex husband’s girlfriend threatened my life multiple times and I don’t feel comfortable with my kids around her. Is that enough for a restraining order ?

Id just take all the evidence you have to the police and see what they can do. It might be enough for a harassment protection order

They will want to see proof of the threats and it would help to bring along a close friend to tell them that you both feel the threats are credible. If you don’t have enough documentation of it at the moment, you’ll have to call the police next time to officially document the threat. From there you can go back and get restraining order.

Take any messages or social media post you have from her saying she’s gonna do anything towards you go to the police and say you best for your life and the safety of your unborn child
