Nexoplanon implant

I got my implant the day before my expected ovulation day. (Had unprotected sex that weekend) Dumb ik anyways my period is three days late. I took a test 5 days ago and I'm going to test again tomorrow morning. I had some cramping the other day like my period was going to start and still nothing. Obviously the birth control could be the reason I'm having these issues but I can't rule out pregnancy yet. Just curious what anyone else's experience was getting the implant during ovulation.
