Has this ever happened to anyone?

Hey everyone! My period was expected on the 5th but it didn’t come. On the 3rd, I had very light spotting. It’s brown with a pink hue and there weren’t any clots— I don’t know if that makes sense. Anyways, this spotting lasted until the next day (the 4th) but this time it was even lighter. I only saw it when I wiped. I thought maybe my period was gonna come but it didn’t show up and the spotting had stopped. On the 5th, my period didn’t show up. Today is now the 6th! I started spotting again around 12p and then it stopped. It’s 9p as I’m writing this and I’m no longer spotting. The spotting is the same as the one I experienced earlier in the week. The weird thing about this is I was feeling PMS and in period like pain every time I would spot, so I thought my period was coming.

This isn’t normal for me. I’m thinking of meeting with my GYN. Has this ever happened to you? Do you guys have any thoughts? I’m confused
