Confused and need advice

I met my midwife for the first time today and she was very slap dash wanted me out, now I have real struggles with having bloods taken and she couldn’t get my bloods, she’s now saying she wants me to have a gestational diabetes glucose test on Monday ( I’ll be 9 weeks 2 days) this is TOO early right? Then said I have to have a repeated one at 28 weeks. My dad has type 2 could this be why? My BMI is normal so it won’t be that.

Such a shame as I wanted our first meeting to be nice but she just didn’t seem interested in what I had to say.
